Job Description

Leading American investment bank looking to add a non - USD Interest Rate sales person to the Fixed Income team in NEW YORK CITY. The candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience selling non - USD Treasury Bills / Notes / Bonds / Strips / Agencies to institutions (pension funds, money managers, insurance companies, banks, hedge funds etc) based in North America.

The ideal candidate will have some relationships and contacts at Pension funds / Asset managers / Hedge funds / Banks in the US. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual looking for a step up in their career to build upon their existing knowledge in the Government Bonds space and contribute to the development of the institutional business in North America. The candidate will be working in conjunction with the Head of Government Bonds Sales and Trading based in New York City.

Responsibilities:

• Non - USD, Treasury Bills / Notes / Bonds / Strips / Agencies, Interest Rates, Fixed Income, Cash, Interest Rates, Fixed Income
• Maintain and develop relationships with clients
• Take orders and execute on behalf of clients
• Improve levels of business passing through desk, improving profitability
• Focus on INSTITUTIONS in the USA
• Advise clients and provide them with trade ideas.
• Working directly with the Head of non - USD Rates

Skills / Attributes required:

• 5yrs+ industry experience
• Proven ability to speak with clients in the USA
• Very good knowledge in the non - USD CASH RATES product space ( Treasury Bills / Notes / Bonds / Strips / Agencies, Interest Rates, Fixed Income, Cash )
• Must be results-focused, committed to achieving high standards, effective communicator, team-player
