Job Description



Premier Trading firm is seeking a Senior (Hands-On) C# UI/Java Developer to lead the North American development initiatives for their Convertible Bonds trading suite. This is a golden opportunity to work directly with core business stakeholders, traders, quants and top engineers on a fast-paced, high pressure Front Office Trading Desk, delivering core architecture solutions.

Candidates must have front to back development experience using both C# UI and Java as well as domain expertise within Convertible Bonds or other derivative products.

This is a VP Level role located in New York City.

Required Skills:
  • 7-10+ years experience working on a fast-paced, high pressure Front Office Trading Desk
  • Domain expertise within Convertible Bonds or other derivative products
  • Core C#, (Windows Forms or WPF)
  • Core Java, distributed software/multi-threaded development
  • Unix/Linux platform experience
  • Shell scripting
  • RDBMS (Sybase or Oracle), w/ strong SQL skills
  • Test driven software development
  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills
  • Requirements gathering
  • BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science, Math, etc
