Position Description:
The Institutional Equities Division (IED) Prime Brokerage Product Control group is seeking to fill a Vice President position that requires an experienced product controller with advanced reporting, analysis, communication and management skills. The successful candidate will be proactive, highly motivated and possess the ability to work effectively under pressure in a rapidly changing environment in order to meet deadlines. The position will require a large amount of interaction with Global counterparts in Finance, Front Office, Operations and Technology.

Key Responsibilities include:
• Oversee/review month end close process for Prime Brokerage and Fund Services revenue and balance sheet books and records. Implement best practice control environment surrounding the daily pnl process and month end close.
• Deliver financial reporting and analysis including revenue, balance sheet and funding.
• Participate in reviews and implementation of Transfer Pricing policies and New Product Approvals.
• Liaise with external auditors, examiners and internal audit staff to support the completion of annual audits and SOX certifications.
• Partner with existing controllers and other functional areas to enforce controls and current processes and reduce inefficiency and Operational risk.
• Respond and deliver against ad hoc requests from the Business Unit.
• Effectively manage team resources.

Skills Required:
• Candidate should be well organized and detailed oriented.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Solid understanding of financial products; Equity Financing a plus.
• Experience with balance sheet and funding reporting and analytics.
• Bachelors degree.
