Responsibilities

Corporate Services, which is comprised of Business Resilience, Corporate Security, Procurement, and Property is one of the three large- scale functions in Business Services next to Operations and Technology Services. It is a global team with people working in more than 30 countries. In the Americas, there are more than 350 colleagues working together to be the business behind the business for RBS Citizens Financial Group.

An expert in Supply Chain Management, this role will liaise with the business lines on behalf of the Vendor Oversight tower addressing issues related to vendor management. This person will also serve as subject matter expert for assigned business lines for the Contract Management Policy Standard as well as the vendor review process (formerly Third Party Assurance).

Responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to):

Working with business line stakeholders to ensure delivery of effective vendor oversight through contract management and vendor review activity
Providing consultative services for business lines for strategic contract and vendor management activities
Providing business line subject matter expertise on both internal and external vendor management issues
Serving as Contract Management Policy Standard subject matter expert for assigned business lines recommending training and remediation as appropriate
Working with business aligned Procurement teams to deliver services to the business lines
Ensuring appropriate contract management infrastructure across the businesses to drive consistent and objective performance measurement dashboards and reporting.
Supporting the Head of Vendor Oversight in DPSO requirements management and advise on common control test results from business lines.
Engaging with global vendor management team and deliver effective regional representation of the America's Program and report on results.

Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:

2 - 5 years of experience in managing a supplier's performance to contract
Experience building and developing strong relationships with key stakeholders with highlighted ability to influence stakeholders
A passion for customer service and continuously improving all aspects of workplace operations
Ability to work under pressure with efficiency and accuracy
Ability to plan and prioritize workload
Working knowledge of relevant sourcing platforms (Oracle, Ariba, etc)
Demonstrable experience managing stakeholders with pervasive relationships across many areas of a large organization.
Thorough knowledge of contractual terms and related legal principles.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

5 - 10 years of experience purchasing goods or services, vendor management and/or contract management
2 - 5 years of proven track record with Project Management and delivery

Educational, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials:

Bachelors Degree required in related curriculum, Master's Degree preferred
