Job Description

Software Engineer - C++ Linux Chicago, New York or San Francisco

The reputable hedge funds I am currently representing are looking to bring in a junior-mid level C++ focussed software engineer. Positions are available for Chicago, New York and San Francisco offices. Please adhere to the strict requirements below.

Technically gifted in C++ within a Linux environment
3 - 5 years prior professional experience
Socket/network programming
Multi-threading/Concurrency
Related degree

The role is based within a very hard-working yet casual environment giving you an excellent opportunity to progress your Software Development career.

All the technology you will be working with is proprietary (built in house) and is all geared towards high frequency trading. It must be emphasised that this position is a software development role and would appeal to candidates who are more aligned to the tech companies of the world rather than out and out Hedge Funds. Therefore, no interest in finance is needed but some industry experience is always a plus.

As mentioned above there are openings within Chicago, New York and San Francisco offices, however there is a push to get people into the central Chicago office.
