An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Ivy League PhD graduate in New York. As a quantitative analyst you will be working in a Hedge Fund where your goal is to develop statistical models to improve and create automated trading models. This is a market leading group with cutting edge technology where they are committed to pioneering the quantitative trading space within high frequency trading specifically.

This opportunity will provide you with:
Focus on Alpha research and creation of trading strategies through statistical research/
Responsibility over data manipulation and statistical analysis of trading signals

Requirements:
A quantitative academic background with a PhD from an Ivy League school- ideally with a focus on use of large data sets
Excellent mathematical and statistical skills coupled with an analytical mindset
Strong programming skills
A desire to work closely to markets, gaining industry specific knowledge
