Our professionals have deep health industry expertise and include physicians, nurses, system specialists, health policy analysts, actuaries, financial advisors, and data analysts. The Healthcare Advisory practice is aligned across: Healthcare Provider, Healthcare Payers, and Pharmaceutical and Life Science.

Our Operations consultants help clients realize competitive advantage from operations. This high performing team translates business strategy into operations strategy and transforms operations to drive both growth and profitability. Specific areas of focus include global footprint and network design, product innovation and development, sales and operations planning, procurement and sourcing, manufacturing operations, service operations, logistics, and capital programs.
Position/Program Requirements
Knowledge Preferred:

Demonstrates proven expertise and success with developing for global clients optimization strategies related to financial processing, closing, consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, and internal/external reporting

Demonstrated proven expertise and success with leading teams and project management engagements in a professional business services environment in at least two of the following focus areas:
- Shared service and outsourcing
- Financial transformation
- Performance management
- Financial systems optimization
- Talent management

Demonstrates proven expert-level functional knowledge of business intelligence and performance management software tools

Skills Preferred:

Demonstrates proven expert-level abilities and success with identifying, obtaining and processing critical data (e.g. benchmarks) to challenge the status quo through innovative thought leadership and application of industry-specific solutions for high-performing financial functions, including:
- Internal and external reporting
- People and organization structures
- Performance management
- Budgeting and forecasting capabilities
- Cash flow optimization and the use of capital
- Building and maintaining cost-effective controls

Demonstrates proven expert-level abilities and success with developing a business vision and leading implementation efforts with complex project management capabilities, identifying and addressing thoroughly and consistency client needs by:
- Developing and sustaining deep client relationships using networking, negotiation and persuasion skills to identify and sell potential new service opportunities
- Preparing and presenting complex written and verbal materials
- Defining resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collections

Minimum Years of Experience Necessary:

10 years of relevant experience in Financial, Healthcare, Federal or Products and Services Industries

Minimum Degree(s) and Certification(s) Required:

Bachelor's Degree

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred

This role is part of the Health Industries Advisory Pharmaceutical & Life Sciences Operations practice, with a focus on our Research & Development consulting.

We are looking for one Director with a focus on Pharmacovigilance & Product Safety, and one Director with a focus on Regulatory Affairs & Strategy.

• Experience in the industry either as a consultant or from the industry
• Experience in the Clinical Development space preferably clinical research, clinical operations and/or project management
• Technical background (biology, chemistry, pharmacy, PhD, etc.) to engage clients and understand the business
• Strong knowledge of the drug development process as well as regulations
• Understanding of the intersection between processes and technology as well as the ability to articulate the business impact of technology on process and organizations
• Experience in cross functional change initiatives or large technology implementations within Clinical Development
• Deep understanding of the cross functional nature of drug development (statistics, data management, clinical supplies, clin. ops., etc.)
• Experience managing or working with CROs from the CRO perspective of from within a Pharmaceutical organization
• Practical experience with process improvement or change management methodology
• Understanding of the pharmaceutical enterprise; interaction and role of manufacturing, distribution, sales, and marketing
