Responsibilities
Columbia Management Investment Advisors LLC seeks a Fundamental Equity Analyst
- Energy in New York, NY to conduct primary research on the energy industry and specific companies. Maintain coverage of 30 energy, equipment, and services stocks and rank using a rating system from buy to sell. Conduct detailed valuation analysis on sector companies.

Required Qualifications

Position requires a Master-s degree in Finance, Economics, or related, and three years experience as an equity research analyst in investment management; or alternatively a Bachelor-s degree in Finance, Economics, or related and five years progressively responsible experience as an equity research analyst in investment management. Experience must include building and maintaining detailed financial valuation models for a substantial portfolio in the energy, utilities, and/or materials sectors and energy sector analysis, including equipment and devices at a buy
- or sell-side firm. Must have experience using Bloomberg, FactSet, and SNL Energy. 15% travel required.
