Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for handling employee relations cases and calls
  • Lead employee relations investigations and influence business leaders to take appropriate course of action.
  • Ensuring equitable application of the organizations policies and procedures as well as Federal and State laws.
  • Provides advice and counsel to managers, supervisors and colleagues on employee relations issues and questions.
  • Respond to colleagues' issues and provide feedback to managers to ensure situation is handled in accordance with the organizations policies and procedures as well as Federal and State laws.
  • Exercises judgment and independent decision making, as appropriate.
  • Recommend action steps for addressing situations.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional HR experience with 2 or more years employee relations experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and phone skills.
  • BA/BS preferred.
  • MS Office, HRIS systems experience needed.
  • Ability to listen, probe with questions and respond to manager/colleague.
  • Understanding of the group organisational structure and HR structure and operating model.
  • Multi-level and multi-functional communication and influencing ability.
  • Enthusiastic and adaptable with the ability to work independently and proactively.
