Fixed Income & Derivatives Legal Counsel for Leading Global Investment Bank (Snr Manager Level) | New York, USA

Description
A leading global investment bank is looking for a strong legal counsel to work within the Fixed Income Division. The responsibilities will include advising and assisting in the creation, structuring, regulatory analysis and launching of fixed income derivative products. Candidates will also be required to advise the business on all legal and regulatory issues surrounding the group and also interpreting and assisting with the implementation of all new and existing US financial regulations.

Candidates will also be involved in the negotiation and drafting of transactional and related documentation relating to the Fixed Income business. This will involve liaising with key counterparts and senior stakeholders.

Key requirements
• Proven experience working within a legal function
• Expert knowledge of fixed income financial products
• Strong securities laws knowledge
• Expert regulatory knowledge (Dodd - Frank, Securities Laws, Liaising with SEC, FINRA)
• Team player
• Excellent communication skills
