Job Description

The CC CFO - CREAS Business Control team is currently seeking an experienced, motivated and resourceful individual to lead the Americas forecast and plan processes. Reporting directly to the CREAS CFO and working closely with CREAS - Americas Management. The responsibilities associated with controlling the CREAS Americas cost base include:

Analysis of financial & management accounts and reports
Coordination of all financial forecasting & planning activities
Review of capital project initiation forms
Preparation of high quality management information & analysis to support executive management decisions
Interpretation and application of financial & management accounting policies & relevant accounting standards especially as they relate to real estate activities
Promotion of sound commercial business practices and strategies especially as they relate to real estate investments, lease commitments, and outsourced service contracts
Provision of independent financial & business advice

The position is a high profile role that will partner with senior decision makers and provide ideas, observations, business knowledge and financial expertise that will have a direct influence on running the day to day business and setting strategic direction. Therefore an integral part of the role is establishing strong relationships with CREAS management.

Basic Qualifications:

Some knowledge of the business area's products and services
Detailed knowledge of cost control, financial planning and forecasting, budgeting and budget analysis, accounts consolidation and reconciliation and development of control policy and procedures
UBS accounting and reporting policies and procedures
Statutory reporting procedures, management accounting in banking environment, management information reporting, tax planning and compliance.
CPA or MBA preferred but not required
