Job Description

Responsible for managing fulfillment and service and operations functions within the new APAC Commercial Cards team within GWBT&O. This position interacts with internal bank Process Owners, Product, Sales, Vendors and vendor managers, BCMR, finance and Risk and compliance. The incumbent will also need to liaise with GWB Technology, TI, various cards vendors and regulators. He / she will be required to set up and manage the newly created cards ops and Fulfillment and service teams and deliver to clients expectations and SLAs. He/she will be responsible for managing the end to end Commercial card process, engage with the EMEA commercial cards team to ensure the Asia cards team functions as per Standard Operating Requirements (SOR), compliance and risk requirements.

Responsibilities

• Strong Credit Card / Corporate card Experience (at least last 5 years in managerial position handling operations and service teams)
• Experience in dealing with risk, compliance and legal matters vis-à-vis cards operations
• Understanding of credit operations and credit risk
• Experience in managing / interacting with credit card vendors and with Visa/Mastercard/CUP, etc.
• Risk identification and management experience
• Results oriented, implementing practices and processses that drive accountability; willingness to re-examine and adjust where necessary
• Proven project management and facilitation ability - able to naviate and resolve complex issues
• Able to manage a complex portfolio with multiple projects and deliver quality on-time work
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with proven ability in leading conference meetings, influence decisions, and drive outcomes
• Strong positive interpersonal skills
• Proficient with MS Office Programs
• Ability to operate independently in a nebulous environment
• Able to quickly adapt and accept change
• Understanding credit card technology

• Project Management Skills/Certification
• Six Sigma Certification
• Ability to build and forge strong relationships with Sr. Business Leaders across a matrixed environment
• Can clearly advise and make recommendations to help LOB on strategic decisions
• Proven ability to manage contract compliance, interpret contract terms and conditions, and resolve contract issues
• Strong relationship management skills; proactively building, maintaining, and using key relationships to build trust/credibility and promote objectives
