Job Description
UBS Investment Bank based in Stamford, CT seeks an experienced Portfolio Sales Trader to manage relationships with our leading clients.
The successful candidate will have an established account base and must possess the ability to help execute strategic plans to expand our existing client base. A solid track record selling execution capabilities and content related to the program trading product. Meaningful relationships with the established clients within the Hedge Fund, Asset Management and Financial Services sectors is a decisive asset. Knowledge of Trading Analytics, Index Rebalances and the ability to leverage Quantitative, Index & Fundamental research is important.
This individual is expected to be professional, self-motivated and a team player. The candidate must be results-oriented and committed to generating new business opportunities in a competitive market. This individual will be expected to develop and maintain strong relationships with other UBS sales teams as well as UBS institutional clients.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years work experience in Program Trading
- Series 7 & 63
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with electronic trading products & FIX connectivity
- Strong understanding of US equity markets
- Strong understanding of International Equity markets
- Fluent in industry regulatory issues and best execution concepts
