In addition, the position requires knowledge of private equity fund structures and all related tax issues, including the organization of new private equity funds. This role will require the ability to work well with a broad range of internal and external subject matter experts.
Responsibilities include:

- Consultation with the Finance & Accounting department regarding financial statement preparation and related accounting and tax issues
- Correspondence with limited partners regarding tax matters.
What we're looking for:
- 8+ years of tax experience, preferably in a Big 4 accounting firm and private industry
- A Bachelor's degree is required. CPA license is a plus, MBT or MBA a plus
- Tax experience should include broad exposure to general tax and accounting principles; in-depth knowledge of partnership and international tax rules and related partnership and partner reporting issues and disclosures; solid research skills; and experience with book tax provisions

- The ability to work well within a small group environment with both external and internal partners
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Sound judgment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Keen desire to learn and understand the business drivers not just the application of tax rules
- Strong sense of personal ownership and ability to be proactive in all areas of job performance
- Flexible, resourceful, a "can-do" service oriented attitude
- Organization skills, ability to prioritize and multi-task in a busy, dynamic, global and ever-changing environment
