The Senior Financial Analyst role is responsible to provide decision support, insight and analysis to business partners. Additionally, the position will provide assistance, insight and analysis in development of budget, forecasts and business plans as well as ensure integrity of financial results. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills with a finance degree, MBA preferred.

Additional responsibilities include:

Build analytical tools that accurately model and evaluate the business and potential business scenarios
Provide insight and analysis on the overall health of the business across multiple horizons to management
Work closely with business & department owners to provide in depth, action-oriented analysis and reporting
Implement strategies to highlight revenue opportunities, operating efficiencies, and process improvements
Develop long range plan for business units while defining and monitoring key business drivers, trends, levers, and metrics
Perform full P&L review as part of overall business health/performance monitoring
Analyze revenue mix (by sales channel and product level) and operating expenses
Reconcile actual vs. planned results, explain variances, and reforecast where necessary
Prepare and distribute monthly reporting package to senior management and perform ad-hoc analysis

In additional to performing the above responsibilities candidates must:

Demonstrate the ability to apply financial analysis in solving business problems and integrating financial discipline into operational decision making
Posses experience with a General Ledger system (PeopleSoft strongly preferred)
Be highly motivated with the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a highly dynamic environment
Possess strong analytical skills as well as written and verbal communications-ability to communicate with all levels of the organization including executives
Possess strong Microsoft Office PC skills (Excel, PowerPoint and Word). )
Possess Finance or Accounting degree, MBA preferred
Familiarity with TM1 and nVision is a plus.
