Job Description

Position 1: Project Manager - LearningScope of Work: The Project Manager will provide project management support on all key learning and talent management application initiatives. This will include but is not limited to support on learning and talent management applications including enterprise-level learning management, performance management and succession planning applications. Responsibilities include: Provide overall project management for learning and talent management applications for The Learning Organization. Manage a range of learning and talent management projects, setting priorities with measurable objectives, monitoring and reporting status, managing quality and risk. Accountable for effective usability, reliability, functionality, performance and support of enterprise-wide learning and talent management applications. Serve as Project Manager for learning and talent management applications. Main responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Facilitate the definition of overall project scope • Ownership of project plan(s) execution • Create and maintain project schedules, including milestones and resource plans • Manage expectations and communications to all project stakeholders. Document meeting minutes and key decisions. Conduct periodic steering committee meetings with senior management. Produce project scorecards. • Manage risk and risk escalation. Develop, track and implement controls to manage project risk • Identify and communicate project dependencies and impacts • Manage change control process and its impact on project scope, schedule and budget • Identify, track and drive issue resolution • Create and manage project implementation plans to ensure smooth transition into business as usual processes and ongoing application support • Partner with stakeholders including the business, human resource consultants, vendors and internal technology groups to ensure that we meet our customers’ business needs • Collaborate with vendors and others on technical issues, and future application functionality and capabilities Qualifications: • 3-5 years of project management experience a must, with proven ability on managing resources, timelines, budgets and project deliverables • Strong organizational skills, able to prioritize, able to multi task and drive projects to meet deadlines • Proven ability to support multiple projects at the same time • Excellent Microsoft Project proficiency required; specially project schedule development, management and reporting • Strong influencing skills • Ability to assist in defining scope, developing conceptual and detailed plans to meet the business needs. • Strong verbal, written and listening communication skills are crucial to this position as the candidate will interact heavily with business, and other IT groups on an ongoing basis • Ability to brainstorm and communicate technology ideas and issues with peers and IT management • Proven consultative skills and ability to work with all levels of management • Ability to develop and sustain strong, credible relationships across business areas • Strong knowledge of business operations and related issues is critical (business acumen) Additional Qualifications: • Experience with HR Applications or more specifically Talent and Learning Applications, considered a plus • Formal education in project management is a plus • PMP or Project Management Certification is a plus Position 2: Senior Project Manager - Peoplesoft Security Design Scope of Work: Provide project management and leadership for elements of security design associated with re-implementation and upgrade of PeopleSoft. This includes analysis and integration of security for PeopleSoft, other sub-systems and Cognos. The role will ensure a complete and comprehensive approach to security including defining role and data level security across applications. In addition, implementation and testing will include detailed analysis of roles, scope of authority, permissions, access request processes and provisioning. Other Peoplesoft and security project work may be required. Skills/ Experience: 7 – 10 years experience with Peoplesoft security design (not security administration) Peoplesoft upgrade and implementation experience Peoplesoft role, row and permission list level knowledge Application software development experience with Peoplesoft 8.8 and 9.1 Knowledge of security design for analytics tools such as Cognos Experience with SOX controls and writing Standard Operating Procedures Familiarity with Single Signon (SSO), SAML and Peoplesoft security administration Broad based experience with Human Capital Management system and/or HR SaaS solutions Strong analytical and communication skills
