Description

The Business Analyst (BA) reports to Team Leader, and is responsible for providing business or technical solutions to Corporate Trust through analysis and liaising with relevant parties. Such responsibilities shall include (but not be limited to) : Interaction with all relevant internal and external parties to understand and document requirements or design and implement solutions to ensure the successful execution of their particular task- either reporting requirements for new deals or supporting business platform solutions, whilst ensuring strict adherence to SDLC processes and procedures They will also work with the relevant parties to enhance existing processes and implement solutions for business change requests. The BA will be required to liaise between Business and Technology groups for systems requirements surrounding system migration, enhancements or upgrades.

Qualifications

College degree and/or equivalent related experience. Degree in related subject preferred. 3-5 years of experience, preferably in the financial services industry. Some knowledge of relational databases and modeling platforms, understanding financial structures, deal documentation and business analytics. 5+ years of experience as a BA, preferably in the financial services industry. Some knowledge of relational databases and modeling platforms, understanding financial structures, deal documentation and business analytics preferred. Good written and verbal communication skills. Good documentation skills. Must be able to clearly organise and document user requirements into formal Business Requirements, Functional Requirements and System Specifications. Familiar with the Software Development Life Cycle, software testing and defect management.
