This is a technical analyst position supporting Guardian's Application Access Management initiative. Initial focus will be participation in an enterprise wide project to implement a new Identity and Access Management solution, subsequently will support and enhance the solution. The candidate will have experience in all aspects of an SDLC lifecycle including the analysis, design, development, testing, installation and maintenance of information systems and acting as interface with customers and other developers to determine the most efficient and cost-effective approach to meet business requirements. This hands on technical role requires strong Java development skills, XML based workflows design, Web application architecture and Web services and also utilize a variety of hardware and software technologies and may include new code construction, modifications to existing modules and/or package implementation. Incumbents apply disciplined software development processes and utilize leading edge technologies to engineer and implement their automated solutions to business problems. Responsibilities: Installs, integrates and deploys SailPoint IdentityIQ and AccessIQ, Aveksa or other IDM software. Communicates to internal clients and technology partners aspects of both the product and the implementation at the technical and/or functional level appropriate for the situation. Completes requirements gathering, analysis and documentation. Works with internal clients on user testing, debugging, support and maintenance. Assists with management of project scope, schedule, status and documentation. Reports on problems and tracks progress with vendor. Analyzes and documents customer business requirements to ensure a thorough understanding of business needs. Participates in day-to-day support, maintenance of systems, troubleshooting, resolving all related issues with Vendor and other IT partners. Contributes to or may produce complete designs of business solutions, including assessing project resource requirements and estimates. Develops/Modifies programs and/or customizes applications to meet Guardian business needs as needed. Evaluates and select tools necessary to build and support applications. Participates in systems integration efforts to ensure new or modified systems operate effectively in the environment. Conducts tests including user acceptance tests. May lead installation of new or modified systems, providing post-implementation support. May act as a lead for key components of a project. Provides guidance and technical coaching to more junior developers. Tools and Technology: Experience with the following programming languages: Java, JavaScript, JSP/Servlets, and SQL. Experience with the following technologies: XML, Service Provisioning Markup Language (SPML) /SOAP, HTML, Web and Application Servers (WebSphere/Weblogic). Experience setting up and installing software on both Windows and Unix (Linux, Sun, HP, AIX) platforms. Experience with Databases (Oracle, UDB, MSSQL etc). Experience with Directories (LDAP, AD, RACF). Experience with enterprise systems (SIEBEL, PeopleSoft) a plus. Experience with identity management provisioning systems Sun IDM or WaveSet a plus. Familiarity with role-based access control (RBAC) or Enterprise roles-based access control (EBAC) a plus. Excellent communication skills and experience working with internal clients and IT partners. Experience with QA duties is a plus (usability testing, performance testing, automated testing, test scripts, test cases and test plans). Security software or internal IT audit experience a plus Education and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems. Minimum 7 years of working experience. 3-5 years of professional work experience as a senior developer / analyst with enterprise software. Ability to works with limited supervision. Ability to think "out of the box" and figure things out. Must possess problem diagnosis and resolution skills.
