Overview We are seeking an IT Security Architect Technology consultant to develop and define a technology strategy and roadmap for our products client. The IT security architecture designs will be used to support our clientrsquos specific business capabilities. In this role, the individual will work closely with the client IT and Business teams. The IT Security Architect Technology consultant will support the IT security strategy and roadmap through plan and analysis, design, build, test, and deployment activities. Activities include understanding the current-state IT security landscape from an application, infrastructure, policy and governance, process, and people stand-point to develop a IT Security technology architecture strategy and roadmap, detailed planning and analysis, designing security architecture, test planning and execution, etc. This individual will also analyze and resolve security solution issues in a timely and accurate fashion for any security architecture solution implementations delivered andor maintained on behalf of our clients. Our Technology Consulting professionals can expect to work with cutting edge technology work on a high-performance delivery team deliver high-quality solutions across multiple industries work on a variety of projects ranging in both size and scope receive continuous training gain rapid career progression Role Responsibilities Technology Consulting professionals are responsible for delivering technology innovation and providing the backbone of our systems integration business Key responsibilities may include MUST have deep Network Security Architecture experience and strong, in-depth understanding of key security concepts i.e. Application Infrastructure Security, Information Data Protection, Identity Access Management, and Business continuity Risk Management. Learning the current-state IT security architecture and business application capabilities and functions including Application, Infrastructure, Network security Define and re-design the IT security architecture or Security Reference Architecture that safeguards the enterprise (i.e protect from cyber threats, mitigates against enterprise risks, and meets regulatory and compliance requirements, etc.) while enabling business capabilities and growth Develop security and risk management program, which provides a view of risk across the organization Experience with and understanding of the following IT Security practices Managing the complexity and risk which comes with delivering identity and access to the extended enterprise Protecting critical applications and data from sophisticated attacks Establishing secure systems and networks and proactively manage events and compliance Implementing a lifecycle approach to data protection and privacy Avoiding business disruptions and improve response reliability during disruptive events Developing pervasive cyber resilience in the face of advanced threats Knowledge and exposure to the following core IT Security Capabilities and industry market trends Identity Access Management Application Infrastructure Security (including Network Security) Information Data Protection Business Continuity Risk Management Experience with security architecture for mobile, BYOD, infrastructure and DLP Plans, designs, executes and monitors all security systems and their associated software and hardware Provides security guidance, technical advice and recommendations to Management and Vendors to meet Security Directives for new project initiatives and the design of enhancements and architecture of technology solutions and acts as a IT Security Subject Matter Expert Ensures projects are compliant with the enterprise security architecture framework and, secure development standards Conducting interviews with business organization clients to document and validate business direction across different products in support of defining the future-state security architecture solutions Understanding, assessing and documenting business priorities that will impact the target IT Security architecture Document near term security architecture to align with existing and in-flight requirements and designs Create and Document long term target security architecture to support a comprehensive solution including the Operations Architecture Assess, evaluate and document existing security technology solution (e.g. databases, application, network, governance or monitoring security tools and technologies) Perform gap analysis based on understanding of current-state IT security architecture and Target-state IT Security Architecture Document recommended implementation prioritiesroadmap Reviewing the security requirements and analysis, including application architecture for business application development andor sourcing Documenting system use, deployment, and operations Understanding and practical experience with iterative development methodology (agile scrum) Being proactive and always looking for better and more efficient ways to do things Technical Skills and Requirements Minimum 5+ years of professional experience Strong, in-depth understanding of key security concepts Deep expertise in building developing enterprise security architecture frameworks using a recognized enterprise architecture methodology (SABSA, Zachman, TOGAF, etc...) Expertise in security methodologies, standards and best practices (ITIL, ISO 27002, NIST and other security related practices) and in architecture (SABSA) Hands-on experience and technical skills applied to infrastructure, security architecture, as well as enterprise architecture Previous consulting experience preferred or client service delivery experience preferred Understanding of InfrastructureSoftware Development andor Solution Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC) methodology Experience in working with Agile development methods Confident and comfortable interacting with people in various disciplines and at various levels of an organization, business clients and driving solution discussions with both IT and business stakeholders Ability to adapt and develop solutions on-the-fly with clientsprospects and help train others High degree of interpersonal skills proven ability to work well in team settings Desire to work in entrepreneurial environment Excellent leadership, management, and organizational skills Proficiency in verbal and written communications (including presentation skills) and interpersonal skills Proven ability to work creatively and, analytically in a problem-solving environment, and ability to quickly process and work with complex information Education and Certifications Bachelorrsquos degree andor College Equivalent (Preferred Engineering, Comp-Sci, or Business degrees) CISSP, CRISC, SSCP, CISA, CISM or CIPP certified (or equivalent) Be fluent in spoken and written English language Reports to Works Closely With Managing Director ndash Technology Practice Direct Reports NA Applicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization which does not require sponsorship by the employer for a visa.
