We seek a Continuous Integration Engineer to support software engineering modernization in JPMC Card, Merchant Services Auto Finance line of business. This role emphasizes the implementation of complex, automated builddeployment systems and providing ongoing hands-on support to a large community of application development teams using these services. As a Continuous Integration Engineer, you will work with both agile developers and infrastructure engineers on a daily basis to automate every aspect of the software developmentdelivery process from build, through unit functional testing to deployment. The ideal candidate will be a jack-of-all-trades technologist with application development or release automation background and the ability to pick up new skills quickly. We39re looking for a versatile candidate who thrives on being able to work with new technologies and who can bring their creativity and passion in implementing innovative software delivery systems that are essential to the overall software engineering effort. Responsibilities bull Implement scalable and shared build, test and deployment automation systems. bull Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of continuous builddeployment systems. bull Work to continuously improve speed, efficiency and scalability of the build and test systems. bull Work across functional (developmenttesting, deployment, systemsinfrastructure) and project teams to ensure continuous operation of build and test systems. bull Automate wherever feasible. bull Proactively communicate with the user community. bull Proactively seek opportunities to improve internal team processes and toolset usage. bull Contribute to an atmosphere of cross-functional teamwork within the organization39s emerging Agile delivery lifecycle bull Minimum of 1 yearexperience in one or more of the following stand-up and configuration frameworks Ant, Maven and msbuild Deep expertise with distributed build automation tools (JenkinsHudson, TFS etc) bull Minimum of 5 years of experience in both Windows and UNIX (Linux) environment. Candidate should be well versed in windows and unix scripting, i.e. powershell and bash. bull Solid working knowledge of source control management systems (i.e. Subversion, Git) and effective code branchingmerging strategies Experience in build-time dependency management tools and practices (Maven, NuGet) bull Good knowledge of unit testing and code-coverage tools (JUnit, NUnit bull Strong interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to multitask can set priorities and follow a timeline bull Ability to work in a fast paced, constantly changing environment bull Bachelor39s degree in Computer Science or related field required Preferred Skills bull Familiarity with static analysis tools, functional test automation techniques bull Some.NET application development experience bull Familiarity with J2EE-stack application servers (i.e. WebLogic, Websphere, Tomcat) bull Proven ability to excel within an "agile" environment (i.e. user stories, iterative development, continuous integration, shared ownership, test-driven development, etc.) JPMorgan Chase is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer, MFDV Shift Day Job Department Information Technology
