Position Marketing Campaign Manager Description Marketing Campaign Specialists execute the necessary processes to deliver data products and information to clients. Utilizing data processing tools andor submitting code to submit jobs, work flows and monitor the completion and accuracy of the processing requirements and utilize transfer mechanisms to move data to appropriate platforms. They provide support and communication to teams andor clients based on knowledge of data andor processes associated with the marketing campaign stream. Our customer utilizes a proprietary campaign tool developed with Oracle that requires a robust knowledge of PLSQL. Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related field plus 1 year of experience as a Campaign Manager or in a related projectclient management position working in a marketing services, agency or technology services environment. Work experience must include executing direct mail or email campaigns using at least 1 of the following campaign management tools (Alterian, Unica, Aprimo, Epiphanny) executing PLSQL at an intermediate level using Oracle. Customer will require drug testingscreening and background checks. Work closely with production managers in the development and execution of code required to deliver against communicated specification and marketing goals Set up, submit, process and audit jobs according to requirements Submit queriesorder entry to extract requested data in accordance with business requirements Monitor execution and ensure accurate completion of data standardization, cleansing and enhancement processes Review and validate input data, data formatting specifications and output requirements Audit result data sets to verify correctness Perform validation on the output data based on client specifications Identify and follow-up on any data or processing issues and immediately provide the appropriate notification for resolution Create, review, maintain andor enhance client specific data andor process documentation as needed Audit and utilize checklists to fit the appropriate steps and follow to ensure quality Provide input or recommendations on process improvements Identify, research and resolve data or process issues and immediately provide the appropriate notification for resolution Test and implement process changes. Identify andor acquire new skills needed for the specific client processsolution to allow for service delivery, process improvement and problem resolution. Maintain a general understanding of internal tools and Services as required by the client or company. When applicable, provide input to or maintain accounting information for billing purposes Position reports to Director Marketing Technology, Consulting Job Responsibilities Ability to interpret and understand marketing campaign specification documentation Manage and deliver correct marketing campaign results which meet Campaign Specification requirements Develop marketing campaigns Produce audits of the marketing campaign execution for the production team Work closely with ETLDB personnel to successfully generate output files from approved marketing campaigns Utilize Metadata tool to properly utilize the database tables and functions as well input files to the system for campaign use. Proactively measures and takes steps to ensure client and internal team satisfaction Develops materials and projects by working with technical and non-technical personnel Necessary Skills Experience with Marketing Databases ndash (credit data experience preferred) Experience working with Oracle Applications, PLSQL Experience in managing and executing marketing campaigns Familiarity with reporting toolsapplications - Business Objects, Oracle Discoverer Experience working with marketing campaign tools such as Unica, Alterian and Aprimo Ability to develop and implement campaign documentation and process Experience in managing difficult and technically challenged client personnel Experience 5-7 Years of experience working with marketing database systems Strong knowledge of relational databases Good communication skills both oral and written. Strong self-initiative and ability to multi-task. Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently. Continuous self-directed learning. Strong self-initiative and ability to multi-task. Windows, UNIX and Linux exposureexperience. Excellent planning and time management skills Commitment to quality highlighted by strong auditing capability Results driven, client first attitude Candidate must have direct marketing campaign management experience, with an emphasis on technicalanalytical skills required to drive campaigns in the financial services industry. Excellent SQL or Oracle PL SQL knowledge and ability to code complex queries against a marketing database Excellent knowledge and experience in working with one-to-many and many-to-many relationships within a database structure to delivery marketing campaigns. Excellent organizational skills with ability to operate on a wide range of topics and projects at one time - must be able to work in a team environment with players from many different organizations - superior attention to details Proficient with Word, Excel, Powerpoint and database software. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with 5-6 years marketing experience. Solid knowledge of regulatory requirements as they relate to customer management programs - including loyalty programs - and lead generation in the financial services industry (e.g., Privacy, Federal Do Not Call regulations, CAN SPAM Act, etc.).
