Position Summary Looking for a talented Director, Digital Product (web and mobile) to create the direction for the next generation of mobile weight loss products using a mixture of mobile web and device-native apps. The Director, Digital Product will own the entire product lifecycle from strategic planning to tactical implementation, and will have experience in building and communicating convincing product planning strategies, including key product concepts, product roadmaps, and potential new technology. The chosen candidate must also have strong leadership and communication skills as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-moving, start-up culture. This position will be located in New York CityHoboken, NJ. Essential Responsibilities Passion for innovation, backed by demonstrated ability to execute and deliver. Own product strategy and day-to-day management of the product offering. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, cross-functional teams and external partners to establish and refine multi-year roadmap. Acting as product owner, set priorities, establish accountabilities and anticipate resource needs. Comfortable with various development methodologies such as waterfall, Agile and XP. Data-driven decision making ability needed in order to provide in-depth insights along with the ability to foresee rising trends to establish innovative leadership. Highly motivated, organized and focused able to multi-task and work under tight deadlines Champion for the user by collaborating with the UX team to develop user stories, wireframes, and workflows. Ensuring the overall user experience is optimized by leveraging emerging design methodologies such as motivational design. Develop and implement a go-to-market strategy and drive execution across various teams and departments. Support the development of marketing and training materials, and participate in training as needed. Stay abreast of and interpret legislative, competitive and industry issues to mitigate risk and recommend product enhancements. Understand and track key utilization and financial performance indicators. Ability to translate business and technical concepts into clear, concise business and functional specification documents, including use case documents and dataprocess flow diagrams. Oversee project management, legal approval, reporting and other processes associated with product management andor required by the company. Coordinate with QA team to ensure test cases thoroughly cover all business uses and facilitateparticipate in UAT. Desired Qualifications BSBA required Minimum 3 years of product management (or equivalent) experience Product Management experience with consumer mobile applications (iOS, Android, Mobile web), mobile payment technologies and mobile advertising Strong analytic and fact-based decision-making skills Strong strategic thinking skills with solid technical background Ability to anticipate risks and devise effective mitigation strategies High level of intellectual curiosity, with an innovative approach to achieving results Compelling, effective and persuasive communication and presentation skills able to address all levels of the organization Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary start-up mentality Computer Skills Intermediate- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio Key Skillsets Interpersonal Skills - Ability to perform in a team-oriented environment must maintain positive attitude while handling variety of member concerns, issues and complaints. Ability to accept constructive feedback and consider thoughtfully. Remains open to others' ideas and tries new things.
