The Product Analyst will participate in a wide variety of projects and processes for Franklin Square's funds including portfolio monitoring, investment analysis, budgeting and forecasting, the creation of marketing presentations and the preparation of the funds' regulatory filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The Product Analyst, based out of our Philadelphia office, will work closely with the firm's Associates and senior staff members in managing a wide variety of projects and processes for Franklin Square's funds including portfolio monitoring, investment analysis, budgeting and forecasting, the creation of marketing presentations and the preparation of the funds' regulatory filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The position represents a unique opportunity to work with experienced investment professionals while developing valuable skills in the fields of finance and investment management (such as a proficiency in financial modeling and valuation analysis).
The successful candidate is expected to:
- Analyze financial information to forecast fund sensitivities based on business and macroeconomic conditions;
- Interpret and monitor portfolio and market data on price, yield, leverage; compliance, investment-risk trends, economic influences, and other factors affecting investment products' value;
- Evaluate and report periodic fund performance metrics;
- Assist in the creation of product communications literature and marketing presentations;
- Assist in the preparation of the funds' regulatory filings with the SEC.
- Perform other related duties as required.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or economics preferred;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office;
- Strong organizational skills with ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously;
- Ability to work cooperatively within a team structure and with other internal departments, as well as external business partners;
- Ability to excel individually when limited resources are available.
